Elizabeth and Jason and Greta go to White Castle

While we didn't have the difficulty Harold and Kumar did finding a White Castle, we did have a bit of difficulty parking once we arrived. Valentine's Day is the culmination of the year long efforts of the entire staff of WC. Each and every day leading up to V-day they wake at the break of dawn, fearlessly honing their skills at the burger-steamer and tirelessly perfecting the glistening array of culinary sacrilege for this important holiday. Inventive and original the menu is not, but they do use menus and that is enough to qualify for first class as far as I'm concerned.

Back to the parking. The lot was full and the restaurant was crowded. Fortunately, I have long standing reservations and had no trouble procuring the best table in the house. Parking on the other hand took fifteen minutes. The Valet must have fallen ill. No trouble, we were early and eventually we found a spot.

We dined by candlelight on the following menu:

Hors d'oeuvre
Chicken Rings- Lightly fried and served with a barbecue demi-glace
Onion chips- mmm

Salades
I don't think so...

Plats Principaux
Ten hamburgers steamed to perfection toped with cheese-food and reconstituted onions
Crinkle-Cut French Fries
Fish Nibblers

Dessert
Chocolate Maltshake

The evening was a success and I would highly recommend giving it a try. Don't forget a backup gift in case your significant other doesn't have the sense of humor that mine does. Bon appetite!

Oh yea, Greta loved it! She truly is a Palmiter, eagerly devouring an entire cheeseburger and four chicken rings! That's our baby!
